Return Policy Safety Products

On this page, you will find all the information regarding our return policy and the procedures to follow.

If you have questions or would like to discuss your return request, please contact our customer service team. We are happy to assist you and will provide you with a prompt response.

1. Introduction

Safety Products B.V. aims to carry out every delivery with care and to the full satisfaction of the customer. However, if a delivery does not correspond with the order or expectations, or if there is a defect or complaint, you may make use of this return procedure.
This procedure applies to all items delivered by Safety Products B.V., unless otherwise agreed. Special-order items are not covered by this return procedure.

2. General Return Conditions

  • Only stock items are eligible for return.
  • Items must be in their original, undamaged packaging.
  • Return labels may not be affixed directly to the product packaging.
  • Items must be unused and clean.
  • A return request must be submitted within 1 month of the invoice date (excluding warranty cases and/or complaints/claims).
  • Return shipments without prior approval and a return number will not be processed.

3. Types of Returns and Specific Conditions

3.1 Incorrect Deliveries
An item may be returned if:

  • It was delivered incorrectly or ordered incorrectly.
  • It was delivered or ordered in excess.
  • It was delivered damaged or defective.

Condition: notification must be made within 7 working days of the invoice date.

3.2 Warranty Request and Product Complaint

  • Complaints must be submitted by email, supported by clear photos of:
    o The product label.
    o The complete item.
    o The specific issue.
  • After assessment, you will receive a return slip if applicable.
  • Complaint items will be reimbursed after evaluation in accordance with the guidelines below and will then be destroyed:
    o Worn up to 3 months: 50–100% reimbursement.
    o Worn up to 6 months: 25–50% reimbursement.
    o Worn for more than 6 months: 0% reimbursement.
  • For cases resulting in 0% reimbursement, the items will be kept for 14 days after the invoice date before being destroyed.

4. Requesting a Return Number and Shipping Instructions

1. Submit your return request by email to our customer service. Please include:

  • Item description(s)
  • Order number
  • Reason for return

2. After approval, you will receive a return form with a return number by email.

3. Send the items back within 10 working days after submission of the request to the address below. Clearly state the return number on the packaging.

Important: Unregistered returns will not be accepted.
4. If the complaint is found to be justified after assessment, the shipping costs incurred for returning the item will be fully reimbursed by Safety Products B.V., in accordance with the rates used by Safety Products B.V. itself. The reimbursement will take place simultaneously with the refund of the purchase amount, unless otherwise agreed.

5. If you are unable to ship the item yourself, Safety Products B.V. can arrange a collection service for you.

  • In the case of a justified complaint: the full costs of the collection service will be covered by Safety Products B.V.
  • In the case of an unjustified complaint: the full costs of the collection service will be charged to the customer.

5. Inspection and Refund

If a complaint is submitted in time, the customer remains obliged to pay for the delivered goods until the return shipment has been approved by Safety Products B.V.

  • Returns will only be accepted after written approval from Safety Products B.V. and must be carried out in the manner specified by us.
  • Safety Products B.V. is entitled to investigate the authenticity and condition of the returned products before any refund is issued.
  • Refunds will be processed as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days after receipt of the customer’s declaration of dissolution, to the previously provided bank account number.

6. Applicability of Terms

Any complaints will be handled in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, Delivery and Payment of Safety Products B.V.
