How can I order Bollé prescription safety glasses?
Prescription safety glasses are custom-made and are not a standard product that can be ordered directly through our webshop. This makes sense, as frame selection, eye measurements and lens fitting all need to be taken into account.
The process is straightforward. Bollé Safety offers three different options:

Seamless Vision
Using this innovative online tool and workflow, you can complete an eye test and select a frame using nothing more than a laptop.
You will receive a voucher once the order has been placed. Throughout the process, online support from qualified opticians is available to assist you if required.
In-Store Vision
Allow your employees to book an appointment with one of our partner opticians in their local area.
Using our international dealer locator, you can search by town or city to find the nearest participating optician. This makes it quick and easy for everyone to arrange an eye test.
On-Site Vision
This service is ideal for carrying out eye tests for multiple employees at the same time, directly at your workplace.

Step-by-step guide to ordering prescription safety glasses
The following steps explain how to order Bollé Safety prescription safety glasses through SafetyProducts.com. This process applies to the In-Store Vision option.

1. Contact
Get in touch with SafetyProducts.com and let us know that you would like to order Bollé Safety prescription safety glasses.
2. Choose your preferred ordering method
Discuss the preferred ordering method with one of our PPE specialists. You can choose from three options: Seamless Vision (online), In-Store Vision (through a local partner optician) and On-Site Vision (opticians visit your workplace; this option is ideal for multiple employees at the same time).
3. Define the available options for employees
Together with our PPE specialist, determine which options employees can choose from:
- Which participating opticians employees may visit
- Which frame styles are available
- Which lens materials are available
- Which additional options employees may select
- Completion of the application form required to activate a Bollé online portal.
Once the online portal has been activated, employees can be registered for an eye test appointment. The portal generates a form that employees must take with them to the optician.
4. Eye test and frame selection
During the online or in-person eye test, employees can choose from a range of frames and lens types, with or without additional coatings. Their vision will also be professionally assessed. Further down this page, you will find an overview of frames suitable for prescription lenses.
Employees can choose from the frames, lenses and options that have been pre-approved by your organisation.
5. Select the intended use of the glasses
Determine whether the glasses will be used indoors, outdoors or in both environments: Clear lenses for indoor use, smoke or polarised lenses for outdoor use, and modulator photochromic lenses for indoor and outdoor use.
Employees can choose from the options that have been pre-selected by your organisation.
6. Placing the order
There is nothing further you need to do. The optician performing the eye test shares all measurements and requirements directly with Bollé Safety. The process can be arranged in two ways:
- The order can be processed immediately, after which the glasses will be delivered and invoiced.
- Alternatively, you can receive a quotation first, including a PO number if required. Once the quotation has been approved, the order will be released, the glasses will be delivered, and the invoice will be issued.
7. Delivery of prescription safety glasses
The average delivery time for Bollé Safety prescription safety glasses is approximately 14 working days after the order has been placed. Delivery times may vary depending on the selected frame, lens type and prescription requirements.
The completed prescription safety glasses are delivered directly to the employee’s home address. Collection from the optician is not required.

Arizona Unifocal
These lenses provide vision correction for a single viewing distance, including myopia (short-sightedness), hyperopia (long-sightedness) and/or astigmatism. They are referred to as single-vision lenses because they are designed for either near vision or distance vision, rather than providing clear vision at multiple distances.
Arizona FreeForm Progressif
Progressive lenses allow people with presbyopia to see clearly at all distances. Distance, intermediate and near vision are seamlessly integrated across the full height of the lens, without visible transitions between viewing zones. This lens is suitable for a wide range of activities and everyday use.
Arizona Bifocal
These lenses are designed for people who need clear vision both at a distance and up close. The upper part of the lens corrects distance vision, while the lower part provides correction for near vision.
Manhattan Computer Lens
Degressive lenses are designed to provide clear vision at near and intermediate distances through a gradual reduction in lens power. The lower part of the lens allows the wearer to read comfortably at approximately 35 cm, while the upper part provides clear intermediate vision at around 1 metre, making it ideal for viewing computer screens and similar tasks. These lenses are not suitable for driving.
Colorado FreeForm Unifocal/Bifocal
The digital FreeForm lens is available in both unifocal and bifocal versions and is customised according to the wearer’s activity profile and frame parameters. Its high-resolution design provides rapid adaptation, excellent visual comfort and is particularly suitable for strong prescriptions and curved frames.
Colorado FreeForm+ Progressive
FreeForm+ technology combines the benefits of FreeForm and ThinTech lenses. It is the ideal solution for wearers with strong prescriptions or for use in curved frames (base 6 and 8). Lighter, thinner and more aesthetically refined, these lenses provide exceptionally clear vision at all distances using Bollé’s most advanced lens technology.

Polycarbonate lens material
Polycarbonate is mainly used for its high impact resistance. It is one of the most impact-resistant lens materials available. Polycarbonate (PC) is a soft plastic that is 10% thinner than glass and 15% thinner than CR39, although it is more susceptible to scratching. This can be effectively addressed with a scratch-resistant coating. PC absorbs UV radiation between 280 nm and 380 nm, blocking 99.99% of ultraviolet rays.

Refractive index: 1.59
CR39 lens material
CR39 is an organic resin lens material that is stronger than glass, 50% lighter in weight and capable of absorbing part of the ultraviolet spectrum. However, it is more susceptible to scratching. To address this, a hard scratch-resistant coating is applied to the lens surface. For the same prescription strength, CR39 lenses are thicker than both glass and polycarbonate lenses.

Refractive index: 1.50
Trivex lens material
Trivex combines the impact resistance of polycarbonate with the optical clarity of CR39. It is more durable than CR39 and offers excellent resistance to chemicals. In addition, it is one of the lightest lens materials available (1.11 g/cm³) and blocks 100% of UVA and UVB radiation. However, Trivex is generally more expensive and offers a more limited prescription range than CR39 or polycarbonate.
